This is the 50mm version of the Stainless Steel Weepa.
The most stylish weep hole former available. Completely stainless steel. Compliant by design with all Bushfire Attack Levels (BALs) of AS3959.
Cavity brick walls must have weep holes to properly provide drainage and ventilation, but have the potential to provide access for vermin and can present a bushfire hazard as well as being unsightly.
-A luxury weep hole former designed for prestige projects made entirely from marine grade 316 stainless steel.
-A special size for use with 50mm high bricks commonly known as 'split' or 'roman' bricks.
-When installed in masonry construction it is compliant by design with Bushfire Attack Levels of AS3959:2018 BAL-LOW, BAL-12.5, BAL-19, BAL-29, BAL-40 and BAL-FZ.
-Installed by the bricklayer during construction.

Statutory Requirements
Building requirements - The Australian Standard AS 3700-2018 for Masonry Structures Section 4.7.2 says "Weepholes shall be provided to drain moisture from or through masonry construction. Where flashings are incorporated in the masonry, weepholes shall be provided in the masonry course immediately above the flashing, at centres not exceeding 1200 mm."
Bushfire requirements - The Australian Standard for Construction in Bushfire Prone areas (AS3959:2018) stipulates that new buildings in bushfire prone areas require weep hole protection to prevent ember attack. It specifies the requirements for ember screening to meet the various Bushfire Attack Level (BALs).
